The stream of Quebec45 ends here ...

June 3, 2023

Welcome @ Fourtyfive

Hello, I'm Paul. Due to persistent health problems and lack of listeners, we have decided to stop end of may with the radio adventure Quebec45.  You can contact us with the mailform on this website.

Myself, I am grateful to you for listening every day and your encouraging responses.

I wish you the best.

OLDIES

The oldies format began to appear in the early 1970s. Kool-FM in Phoenix became one of the first radio stations to play oldies music.  We play 60's, 70's, 80's music, mixed with popcorn, evergreens, country, instrumentals. Our playlists are Non Stop.  As we are targeting more Quebec listeners, we hope you love the french songs. (Pour les auditeurs québécois, nous espérons que vous aimerez les chansons françaises.)

WOODSTOCK

Woodstock was a music festival held August 15–18, 1969, on Max Yasgur's dairy farm in Bethel, New York, 40 miles southwest of Woodstock.

Billed as "an Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace & Music" and alternatively referred to as the Woodstock Rock Festival, it attracted an audience of more than 400,000. About 32 acts performed outdoors despite sporadic rain.

MUSIC

Top Overall Selling Canadian Artists : Andy Kim, Bob Nolan, Celine Dion, Shania Twain, Michael Buble, Avril Lavigne, Bryan Adams, Leonard Cohen, Lucille Starr, Neil Young, Paul Anka, Percy Faith, Robert Goulet, Terry Jacks... etc - We also love crooners and evergreens.

Thanks to Laura Mattis, Paddy Davis and Paul who create Non-Stop playlists on a daily basis.

Silence has taken over !
